Give meaningful gifts for the holidays, birthdays, celebrations, memories, or no reason at all. Giving to a Lift Up Uganda project provides many resources to the families and communities in northern Uganda. Below are the current projects Lift Up Uganda is working toward.

Sports Field and Equipment

Share your love of sports with the children of Northern Uganda. In 2026, Lift Up Uganda is fundraising to provide for a sports field where children will be able to safely run, play, participate in sports, and grow.

With your donation, we will be able to acquire land, prep the land, build wooden bleachers, and provide all the necessary equipment for the children to explore sports, whether it be soccer, American football, baseball, softball, badminton, volleyball, or field hockey. If you can think it, they want to play it!

Foster Reading

In 2021 fundraising efforts began to build a Community Children's Library. Today the Library is bustling with children reading and learning. But before the children ever step foot in the Library, Lift Up Uganda aims to send every baby born at the St. Nektarios Health Center home with their first book. Consider giving to foster the love of reading and continue bringing books to the community through the Health Center and the Library.

Clean Drinking Water Unit

For $20 you can provide clean drinking water to one family for three years. This donation provides the needed equipment, tools, test kits, buckets, filters, and onsite training/education.

The locally trained members provide water testing every three months to see that your donated system is working properly.

Medical Supplies and Support

The majority of people who visit the St. Nektarios Health Center are unable to pay for any part of their service: consultation, laboratory, or medication. There is an ongoing need to raise funds to buy medication and supplies needed to treat the people.

Consider helping the Health Center thrive as no one is turned away.
