St. Nektarios School and Library Happenings
This school year is off to a great start for the students. The school is seeing a major change in security, new books, and classroom computers! Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the school is now fully enclosed with a fence and gate. This safety feature for the children, teachers, and facilities brings a sense of peace to everyone.

Our Lift Up Uganda Team is traveling to Uganda today. In light of the travel issues and the illnesses (Ebola and Marburg Fever) facing the region, our team is lighter this year. Parish Life Conference
Lift Up Uganda attended the Parish Life Conference and was able to bring with many beautiful items made by the Mothers Union. This group of moms continues to amaze us with their skill development and selection of versatile items. If you have sponsored a student this year, you know that you get letters and photos from the students. We are thankful for your continued support of these students. As the school has grown, the need for sponsors has also grown, and you showed up. This year, we were able to reach our goal of sponsoring 25% of the students.

Helping Babies to Breathe
Midwife Lipsy is at it again. Last we checked in with her, she had taught a Helping Mothers Survive WHO (World Health Organization) course. This time, she is teaching the WHO course – Helping Babies to Breathe.
