This school year is off to a great start for the students. The school is seeing a major change in security, new books, and classroom computers!
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the school is now fully enclosed with a fence and gate. This safety feature for the children, teachers, and facilities brings a sense of peace to everyone.
The Library continues to grow with use. Recently, Lift Up Uganda provided 200 new books for the children. This selection of books is from Ugandan authors. Lift Up Uganda's goal is to provide 500 new books per year. As the Community Children's Library receives new books, older books will be cycled out to the small school that Fr. Simon has started with NUSSP.
Teachers and children in the school are now able to use a laptop for research, assignments, and lesson planning. Ten laptops were delivered to the school, so each classroom now has its very own laptop.
We are excited to see how the students receive and use these new improvements in their learning environment.
