Education is a goal of Lift Up Uganda, as is Health Care.
Lift Up Uganda recognized early on that education of children and adults will give them opportunities to improve their lives and those of their families and communities. Better jobs will be available to allow for self-sufficiency in their futures.
Lift Up Uganda sponsors children and adults of all ages to attend school by paying their school fees and by providing uniforms, shoes, books, school supplies and transportation. Nursery schools, Primary schools, Secondary schools, Vocational schools and Universities have all had eager Ugandan students. The first Nurse for the St. Nektarios Health Center was supported, as is a current Nurse Midwife student.
