Located near the St. Nektarios Health Center is the St. Nektarios Nursery School. Here 3, 4, and 5-year-old children start their education. Since its inception, the school has been rebuilt and expanded, a testimony to the importance of education to the Akonyibedo Village and surrounding villages. Because of its popularity, the parents asked that the school be expanded to offer Primary grades. The Primary classrooms for Grades 1 and 2 opened for students in 2020. With your donations, the school will be able to add additional classrooms for Grade 3, 4, 5, and 6. Lift Up Uganda built this school and provides students and teachers, supplies, playground equipment, and a security fence.
